Pop is an app created by Marvel which allows users to turn paper sketches into working prototypes. Pop is available for both IOS and Andriod and allows testing of the same prototype over different devices.
You can sketch wireframes onto paper and then take pictures of them with Pop. Pop then allows you to link areas of the pictures together, by creating areas on each screen which effectively work as buttons to another page just like in an app. Pop makes this process super fast, allowing for rapid prototyping. Rapid prototyping like this is important as, as soon as you have something working, you can test it and improve it efficiently, without needing a fully functioning coded app. The app also allows for easy sharing between people, so all collaborators have access.
A strength of Pop is its ease of use, simply being able to sketch and then link screens together means prototyping can happen a lot faster and more efficiently than using other programs, Adobe XD for example. I think Pop is an ideal tool for the initial phases of design, but once you need specificity and preciseness, Adobe XD is a good next step.
